Relevé Dance Club

Relevé is our school dance company, meeting every Thursday evening. In these sessions, our dedicated dancers refine their technique in contemporary, street, and jazz. Each term, we host workshops with guest artists, such as musical theatre performers and professional dancers.

The company creates performance pieces, and this year so far, we have choreographed a lyrical and a jazz routine for Welling's Got Talent. Recently our company member Grace won the Jack Petchy prize for Dance, she is going to use this prize to create our own company t-shirts. Relevé is a warm and welcoming community where students not only develop their dance skills but also build friendships and experience opportunities for leadership. In dance, Relevé is a French term meaning "raised" or "lifted." We hope that by being part of the company, dancers feel inspired to elevate not only their technique but also their confidence, creativity, and personal growth.

Accelerate Dance Club 

Accelerate dance club runs every Wednesday lunchtime, offering a mixture of styles such as street, hip-hop, and contemporary, allowing the students to express themselves creatively while improving coordination, strength, and musicality. Whether experienced dancers or complete beginners, all are welcome to join and be part of a passionate and inspiring dance community at Welling.
