Anti-Bullying Ambassadors
Anti-Bullying Ambassador is someone who has been trained by The Diana Award Anti-Bullying Programme. Their role is to help educate others on bullying behaviour, lead on anti-bullying campaigns, promote a culture which celebrates and tolerates difference and help keep their peers safe both online and offline.
We are excited to reveal our Anti-Bullying ambassadors for the academic year of 2024 / 2025 :

Anti-Bullying Ambassadors - Assemblies
During Anti Bullying Week this year, our Anti Bullying Ambassadors delivered assemblies to the following primary schools:
- East Wickham
- Hook Lane
- Brampton
They spoke about raising the awareness of kindness and respect and an anti-bullying stance. They also presented to each Year group at Welling. Here are some of the photos :

Anti-Bullying Ambassadors - Food Bank Visits
Not only do our Ambassadors do excellent work in our school but they also do fantastic work in our local community.
In January we went to volunteer at our local food bank. Students helped sort and label food and learnt about the fantastic work and support they provide to our community :

Anti-Bullying Ambassadors - Digital Wellbeing
Our Ambassadors work closely with The Diana Award and are currently working towards their next badge - 'The Wellbeing Badge'.
One of the actions is to write a blog for the school website sharing tips for parents/carers on how to promote digital wellbeing.
