Player Review

At Welling School we provide a chance for all students within the Post 16 program, a chance to succeed within their football career whilst reaching their full potential within their educational studies.

All players are given a full time training program structured around their education in order to optimise their performance levels by training on a regular basis with weekly games also. The coaches have a great relationship with the Welling players and staff. We all work as a collective team to ensure that everyone is achieving their individual goals and also ours as a company.

Some players have the potential to be the next big thing within their area yet struggle to get their talent seen by scouts and professional clubs. This is where APD come in. They take players from Welling to pro games and other development programs in order for them to showcase their talents to a whole new audience.

As part of the ongoing monitoring of our acdmey players, the football academy produce a very detailed mid season review which highlights the areas of progress and development for our academy players. An example of one can be seen below :
